With summer upon Newcastle, residents and businesses are reminded of the City’s odd/even water schedule.
City Manager Kevin Self said, “To remind all residents and businesses, as part of the water agreement with the City of Oklahoma City, Newcastle is required to adhere to an odd/even watering schedule year round.
“This includes sprinkler systems and hand-watering.”
Self said if your address ends in an odd number, you may water on odd numbered calendar days. If your address ends in an even number, you may water on even numbered calendar days.
“The heat of the summer will be upon us in just a few weeks. Please follow the required schedule by adjusting your sprinkler systems and only hand-watering on your designated odd/even calendar days,” Self said.
