A Newcastle Chamber of Commerce Sip and Share gathering was at Newcastle Christian Church last Friday to announce to the community that the church is preparing for its 30th Anniversary.
Visitors and church members gathered in the church foyer for coffee and breakfast snacks as church pastor Billy Collier welcomed attendees and announced the kick off.
Collier said they will have a special service on Sunday, July 12. Their Sunday services are also streamed on YouTube and Facebook Live. Wednesday services are streamed on Facebook Live only.
The church started in the building where the Newcastle Public Schools’ administration office is now located. They moved to their current location in 2000.
As the Anniversary approaches, they’ll have more information, and a history of the church will be published in the Newcastle Pacer before the event.
