Sick calls, accidents are most of calls made by MGC EMS

McClain-Grady County Emergency Medical Service had 201 calls in the month of April. Among those, 135 were billed and 69 were non-transport.

They had an average response time of 8.70 minutes and an average miles per patient transport of 12.65 miles.

Sick calls led the way for the most types of calls. Next were Auto accidents. Types of calls made by MGC EMS were the following: Abdominal pain, 5; active labor, 1; alcohol intoxication, 2; allergic reaction, 2; altered consciousness, 6; assault, 3; ATV accident, 1; auto accident, 24; BLS transfer, 1; cardiac arrest, 6; chest pain, 16; event standby, 3; fall, 20; fire standby, 1; hyperglycemia, 3; hypertension, 3; hypoglycemia, 5; hypotension, 1; lift assist, 9; overdose, 1; seizure, 18; shooting, 1; shortness of breath, 8; sick call, 41; sports injury, 2; stroke, 4; syncope, 7; and welfare check, 7.
