Newcastle, Norman and Pauls Valley led the way in the area with their increases in Sales and Use Taxes returned from retail sales in May 2026 when compared to the same time in 2025.
Newcastle climbed over the $1 million mark and had an increase of $155,199, while Norman was up $974,96. Pauls Valley increased by $63,730.
Purcell was up $48,461 over 2025 collections.
Out of the 18 area towns included in the report only five reported fewer tax collections over numbers from 2025.
