The annual Newcastle Friends of the Library Book Sale is from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, June 6.
For those who have never been, this is the time of year you can purchase a bag full of books for only $5.
The Book Sale is at the Library in the Community Room, 705 N.W. 10th Street.
There will also be 25 craft vendors with their wares for you to peruse and purchase.
Funds made from the Book Sale go back into the library for things such as the Summer Reading Program.
Organizers of the Book Sale said they want to thank Sooner State Bank for their storage room.
Friends’ spokesperson Charlene Phillips said, “Without them, we wouldn’t have near this many books, and we have a lot.”
