Help is available to get to important destinations
A new transportation resource is available to residents in the Southwest Oklahoma Regional Transportation Planning organization’s 16 counties. This includes McClain County.
The Rural Mobility Access Program (RMAP) is part of Oklahoma’s Rural Health Initiative and is focused on improving access to care and essential services by addressing transportation barriers in rural communities.
Now launching under RMAP is a Transportation Reimbursement Initiative Program (TRIP) — a mileage reimbursement program that helps individuals get to important destinations like medical appointments, pharmacies, and grocery stores tied to health needs.
Local support is available through Mobility Navigators who work directly with residents to answer questions, determine eligibility, and assist with trip preauthorization.
In McClain County contact Kendra Dilbeck at either 580-660-7092, or online at [email protected].
