The 2026 Oklahoma Basketball Coaches Association released its Region 5 Boys Basketball All-Region team, and two Newcastle Racers were among those earning the honor.
Kolton Brammer and Tony “TJ” Williams, Jr. were listed on the team.
Additionally, Brammer was listed last week as a 2026 Large West All-State member.
Players named to the OBCA All-Region 5 team are from various size schools including Class 6A down to Class B. Freshmen, sophomores, juniors and seniors are all eligible, although both Newcastle athletes are seniors this year.

Players named to the team include: Player of the Year, Beau Billingsley of Norman High School; Bridge Barrett, Sulphur; Brammer, Newcastle; Montrel Combs-Pierce, Norman; Case Kana, Wilson; Jackson Lohrer, Velma-Alma; Tylson Pogi, Southmoore; Jaxton Simmons, Waurika; Emery Smalley, Blanchard; Creed Taylor, Lindsay; Luke Thrasher, Central High; and Williams, Newcastle.
Region 5 consists of 55 teams from Southwest Oklahoma. The teams in Region 5 are as follows: Alex, Amber-Pocasset, Ardmore, Blanchard, Bray-Doyle, Bridge Creek, Central High, Chickasha, Comanche, Community Christian, Davis, Dibble, Dickson, Duncan, Elmore City-Pernell, Empire, Fox, Healdton, Lexington, Lindsay, Little Axe, Lone Grove, Marietta, Marlow, Maysville, Minco, Moore, Newcastle, Ninnekah, Noble, Norman, Norman North, Oklahoma School for the Deaf, Paoli, Pauls Valley, Plainview, Purcell, Ringling, Rush Springs, Ryan, Southmoore, Springer, Stratford, Sulphur, Thackerville, Turner, Tuttle, Velma-Alma, Verden, Washington, Waurika, Wayne, Westmoore, Wilson, and Wynnewood.
