Senior Citizens Center News
The Newcastle Senior Citizens Center has been busy since the beginning of the year. February was board member elections and Roy Wilson was re-elected as president, Sharon Ritter was reelected as vice-president. Jill D. Dean was elected as secretary/ treasurer. The remaining elected members are: Al Depee, Keith Wesner, Jeannie Brown, Jon Nickens, and Kenneth Mitchell.
We would like to give the community a big shout-out and thanks for donations this past year. We were able to do some much needed updates including resurfacing and restriping of the parking lot, and purchasing and installing a new warmer, a new range, and a new grease trap.
Greg ST. Cyr generously donated and provided installation of all new brighter lights for the interior of the entire building. Also, a big thanks to Matt Self for clearing snow from our parking lot this past winter. Come join us for lunch at 11:15 a.m. at the Senior Citizen’s Center, 504 Highway 130, Newcastle, OK.
