This year’s Tri-City Cruisers Annual Open Car Show is from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 25.
Because the event has had to deal with rain storms in the past, a rain date has been set for May 2.
The Car Show is at 414 N.W. 32nd Street in Newcastle, just behind the Braum’s Ice Cream and Dairy Store.
The public is encouraged to come out and look over the show entries, and also vote for their fan favorite.
Last year there were more than 300 cars attending with all sorts of makes, models and years.
All paid entries should be in place before 11 a.m. and will receive a show participation plaque. More than 60 trophies will be awarded.
There will be valve cover racing, a disc jockey playing music, a food trailer put on by the Boy Scouts, a Silent Auction, door prizes, and a 50/50 giveaway.
Judging is from 11 a.m. to noon, and awards will be given at 2:30 p.m. The host club cars are ineligible.
