Several NHS Track & Field athletes ranked in top of Class 5A

Several NHS Track & Field athletes ranked in top of Class 5A

There are several athletes making heads turn in Class 5A track and field for Newcastle.

Ranked at the top of them is Jordie Brooks in long jump, currently at the number 1 position.

The Boys 4x200 Relay of Chris Brinlee, Graham White, Alec Shumard, and Ashton Shumard are ranked number 2.

Alec Shumard is ranked number 3 in the 400m dash. Brinlee is ranked number 5 in the long jump.

White is ranked number 7 in the 200m dash, and Alec Shumard is ranked number 7 in the 800m dash.

Liam Cory is ranked 9 in the 800m dash. Cooper Hayden is ranked 10 in the discus.

Kaydence Rogers is ranked 11 in the 100m dash.The Girls 4x100 Relay of Wooten, Rogers, Brooks, and Horton are ranked 13.

The Girls 4x800 Relay of Britton, Heskew, Hart, and Mann are ranked number 15, and the Boys 4x800 Relay of Williams, Croy, Owens and Brickman, are ranked 15.

Hadlee Mann is ranked 16 in the 3200m, and Peyton Wilson is ranked 16 in the discus.

The Girls 4x200 of Wooten, Rogers, Burke and Horton, the Girls 4x400 of Wooten, Britton, Haskins and Rogers, and shot putter Peyton Wilson are all ranked 18.

Luke Perkins is ranked 19 in the 800m dash, and Taytum Burke is ranked 20 in the 400m dash.
