Area March collections by the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana Authority on retail sales were released last week and Purcell had the highest sales among McClain County entities.
Newcastle came in a close second, and Blanchard was third.
Purcell had $5,785.42 returned to city coffers on Medical Marijuana sales. They generated $4,733.54 in sales tax. Newcastle was returned $5,331.40 and had another $5,331.40 which went to the State. Blanchard had $2,919.75 in taxes for its city coffers, while generating $2,669.72 for the State.
