This week’s Chickasaw Nation news features “Epic Tales Told Through Music” by the performer Brandi Berry Benson. Her work, “Songs of the Chickasaws: Epic Tales Told Through Music,” is the compilation of hearing ancestors’ stories, research and her family. A second story features the Chickasaw Nation perinatal program, which recently earned a Gold Spotlight Award for the second year.
