Purcell, Blanchard show a decrease for Jan. 16 to Feb. 15 report
Following a statewide, sales and use tax collections trend, most area towns saw increases over this same time last year, according to the Oklahoma Tax Commission.
Newcastle, Lexington, Lindsay, Dibble, Norman and Noble all reported gains on business conducted from January 16-31 and February 1-15.
Slaughterville, Washington, Wayne and Wanette were also up.
The downward trend continued in Purcell, and Blanchard showed a decrease for the time period. McClain County also received less collections than it did last year.
