Another day of predicted rainfall fizzled out Monday leaving the Heart of Oklahoma high and dry.
With that in mind, Mc-Clain County Commissioners extended the burn ban until, “we see actual moisture.”
That burn ban extension came during the commissioners weekly Monday meeting at the courthouse at 121 N. Second in Purcell.
One report states Central Oklahoma is in the worst drought since 1921.
Weather forecasters continue to predict rain will fall here later on this week, but as of Monday morning so far so dry.
