Newcastle wrestler Gage Stark finished the 2026 wrestling season at the State Tournament as State Runner-Up.
He was the Class 5A West 120-pound Regional Champion.
Stark won against Ethan Pick of Grove by technical fall in the quarterfinals, and then wrestled into the finals where he lost to Aiden Jalajel of Coweta by fall in 5:17.
Teammates Colton Dobbs (113 lbs) and Rylan Rinehart (190 lbs) made it to the Consolation Semifinals before concluding their seasons.
