Two Newcastle Police Officers are ascending the ranks within the department. Debbeelee Mauldin was promoted to lieutenant and Braydon Jones was promoted to sergeant.
The two officers were recognized during the Newcastle City Council meeting February 9 at the City Council chambers next to Newcastle Public Library.
Mayor Karl Nail said these two officers “have earned the trust of this department and the community we serve.”
The City states about Mauldin, “Lieutenant Mauldin was hired by Newcastle on September 10, 2007, and has dedicated her career to serving the community with professionalism, compassion, and integrity. For the past PROMOTIONS on page 3
