Newcastle swimmer Connor Leader recently signed a letter of intent to swim for Oklahoma Christian University. Connor is looking forward to continuing his swimming at the next level and is looking forward to swimming for the Eagles and Coach Josh Davis. Connor recently swam at Regionals in Edmond Saturday, February 7. He won the 200 IM with a time of 1:56.84 seconds, and the 100 fly with a time of 52.94 seconds. This is close to his personal best. He currently is the first seed in 200 IM nearly 10 seconds faster than the second seed. Connor is also first seed in the 100 fly by almost 2.5 seconds faster than the second seed. State will be February 20-21 at Mitch Park YMCA in Edmond.
