Grand opening planned for March 2-8
Braum’s Ice Cream and Dairy Stores has opened its newest Newcastle location on State Highway 9.
The restaurant, which has a postal address of 4450 Kendrick Ct., Norman, is actually in the Newcastle city limits near Riverwind Casino. The more than 6,000-square-foot store is designed to serve families, commuters and nearby businesses. It features a full-service Braum’s Fresh Market, indoor seating for approximately 75 guests, and a covered outdoor patio with seating for about 30.
Located along one of Newcastle’s busiest travel routes, the store includes double drive-thru lanes to provide faster service for guests heading to work, school or home. Store hours are 6 a.m. to 10:45 p.m., seven days a week.
“We’re excited to bring a new Braum’s location to this growing area of Newcastle and better serve guests traveling through,” said Drew Braum, President.
Braum’s will host a Grand Opening Celebration from March 2-8, featuring scratchto- win prize cards available to guests inside the store. Prizes include gift cards, free food items and branded merchandise.
On Saturday, March 7, children 15 and under can visit to receive a free single scoop of ice cream from 1 to 6 p.m., available inside the store only with a parent or guardian present.
Braum’s has more than 320 stores across five states and remains family-owned and operated. This is their second Newcastle location. Their first is located in Tri-City.
