The McClain County OSU Extension Office will offer a two‑day Beginner Quilt Workshop on February 20 and 23 at the McClain County Farm and HomeBuilding,locatedat1721 Hardcastle Blvd. in Purcell.
The workshop will be led by Connie Wollenberg, McClain County Family and Consumer Science educator, along with McClain County Master OHCE volunteers Robert Ward and Sheila Vercher.
Designed for new quilters or those looking to refresh their skills, the workshop will cover the fundamentals of quilting, including proper use of a rotary cutter, quilt rulers, and basic quilt construction techniques.
Participants will complete a three‑yard quilt during the class.
There is no cost to attend; however, participants are required to bring their own supplies.
A limited number of sewing machines will be available for use.
The workshop will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day. Pre‑registration is required by February 18.
