All-Star Pom program returns Overall High Point at Carl Albert
Elevate Dance Academy of Newcastle celebrated what they said was a milestone moment the weekend before last as their All-Star Pom Team competed at the Crowd Pleasers dance competition at Carl Albert High School.
In doing so, they earned First Place in the Pom Division and Overall High Point for All-Star Teams.
This achievement is especially meaningful as this marks the very first year Elevate Dance Academy has offered an All-Star Pom program.
In addition to the older All-Star team, the Dance Academy also debuted younger All-Star teams, laying a strong foundation for the future of the program.
“To see this level of success in our first season is incredibly rewarding,” said Kelsey Britton, owner and director of Elevate Dance Academy. “These dancers and their coach, Hannah Beeson, set the standard for what this program can become. Their dedication, teamwork, and commitment made this an unforgettable first year.”
With this competition, Elevate Dance Academy officially wraps up the 2025 All-Star Pom season, but planning is already underway.
The studio has begun preparing for next season, with goals to grow the program, expand opportunities for dancers of all ages, and continue building a strong, competitive pom presence in the region.
Britton said the success at Crowd Pleasers highlights Elevate Dance Academy’s commitment to excellence and its continued growth within the competitive dance and pom community.
