This country is kicking the year off in an unsettling way, but those of us in the climate change community are still staying focused! As a member of the OK chapter of Citizen's Climate Lobby, I am working hard to help Oklahoma and the planet thrive for generations to come. This month we're focusing on asking our Members of Congress to support sustained funding for the National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR) in the FY2026 appropriations process. This will be very beneficial here in tornado alley and will save countless lives. Happy 2026, and warm wishes for safety, prosperity, happiness, and staying the course this year.
