Pioneer Library System’s Newcastle Public Library is shining a light on health and wellness this season, with several programs offered for the community.
This program is part of a series supported by a $4,371.97 Health Literacy Grant awarded by the Institute of Museum and Library Services, in collaboration with the Oklahoma Department of Libraries, and the Pioneer Library System Foundation.
Programs specific to this grant will include:
• Eat Smart, January March
• Get Moving with Beginner Line Dancing, January February
• Sound Bath Meditation, January 13
• Yoga with Alpacas, March 20

Founded in 1958, PLS today offers full-access libraries in 10 communities throughout Cleveland, McClain, and Pottawatomie counties, as well as additional access locations in smaller communities and outreach services, including Business Services and the PLS Mobile Maker Lab.
