In the first story for this week's Chickasaw Nation news, several Pontotoc County families were the recipients of food and essentials thanks to a program by the Chickasaw Nation and Feed the Children. Holiday care packages were distributed to about 800 families during a recent event in Ada. A second story in the December 25 Chickasaw Nation news focuses on 22-year-old Katie Kelley, who has been dancing since the age of 4. Her love for ballet includes storytelling through movement.
