Newcastle 3rd graders write to Santa Claus.

We asked our third grade teachers at Newcastle Elementary School if they would have their students write a small letter to Santa Claus. They agreed and their students’ letters appear on pages 6 and 7 of this week’s issue of the Newcastle Pacer.
Please know that we did our best to decipher what the children wrote as their wishes. The following two letters are just a sample: Mrs. Mowat’s Class Dear Santa,
My name is Lilly and I am 8 years old. This year I have been very nice (I think). For Christmas please bring me a new puppy because I want waffle aka (my dog) lol to have freind. Next I want some shoes for my dad don’t tell him but his are kind of grubby! and last I want a few skincare products about 2.

Mrs. Gray’s Class Dear Santa,
My name is Layla Waldo and I am 8 years old. This year I have been very nice. For Christmas please bring me a new I Pad case (teal), or a phone (maybe), and I would love to have Polly the magic bird from Pets alive! Sure I would love more, but I just need to be grateful.
