Mid-America Technology Center announces that Mr. Doyle Greteman, who they describe as a dedicated member of its Board of Education, has been selected as the 2025 OROS Pioneer Award recipient.
Presented by the Organization of Rural Oklahoma Schools (OROS), the award recognizes individuals who have made outstanding contributions to rural education and demonstrated an enduring commitment to Oklahoma students and schools.
Greteman’s career in education spans more than four decades and includes a wide range of leadership roles. These include nine years as a speech and debate teacher at Yukon Public Schools, three years as assistant principal at Yukon High School, seven years as high school principal and athletic director at Blanchard Public Schools, five years as superintendent at Hydro Public Schools, and 15 years as superintendent at Lindsay Public Schools Beyond his administrative accomplishments, Greteman has contributed to the profession as a writer for Oklahoma Coach’s Magazine and The Lindsay News.
He also continues to serve his community as the public address announcer for Lindsay football and basketball programs. His leadership has earned additional recognition, including being named District 16 Administrator of the Year.
“Mr. Greteman’s service represents the very best of public education,” said leadership at Mid-America Technology Center. “His dedication to students, educators, and rural communities has made a lasting impact across Oklahoma.”
Mid-America Technology Center leadership said they extend their sincere congratulations to Greteman on his well-deserved honor and they expressed deep appreciation for his continued service to students and schools throughout the state.
