A fundraiser is underway to help acquire money for the fields and complex repairs at Newcastle Sports Complex.
The Newcastle Youth Sports Association and the OK Twisters are working with Professional Recyclers in the fundraiser. They are seeking donations of clothes, toys, and household items from the community.
These can be taken to 1117 N. Main Street in Newcastle between the hours of 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m on Sundays. Donors need to mention that the donation is on behalf of the Newcastle Youth Sports Association. Professional Recyclers will then donate to Newcastle Youth Sports Association.
