The Oklahoma State Department of Education (OSDE) has published the 2025 Public School Report Card, now available at Oklaschools.com. The report provides a statewide snapshot of how public schools are serving students in academic performance, growth, and opportunity, offering educators, families, and communities the data needed to support student success.
Among that information is Newcastle Public Schools Report Card. We have provided the main points from oklaschools.com in the artwork below.
Overall Highlights Statewide
• 1,734 public schools received report card grades, up from 1,723 last year.
• A small number of schools did not receive a grade due to insufficient student enrollment for required metrics.
• Compared to 2024, three fewer schools received an “F,” though overall grades declined slightly, with more schools earning D’s.
• English Language Arts showed progress, and graduation rates improved. Performance Indicators

OSDE said it thanks educators, administrators, and staff across the state for their dedication to data quality, which makes the report card possible and ensures families and communities have the information they need to support students.
Policy Update
Under SB711, Chronic Absenteeism will be removed as a required measure of school success in the accountability system starting in 2025–2026, pending federal approval of Oklahoma’s ESSA Plan Amendment. Attendance improvements may still be counted for bonus points.
