Mid-America staff present at 2025 Oklahoma Transition Institute

Shelly Eubank, Special Services coordinator at Mid-America Technology Center, and Katlyn Hudgins, Career Development coordinator – Special Populations at Oklahoma CareerTech, recently presented at the 2025 Oklahoma Transition Institute in Owasso.

Their session, “Career Tech Builds Pathways, Students Build Futures,” highlighted how CareerTech programs empower students with different abilities to take meaningful steps toward a career.

The Oklahoma Transition Institute is an annual event that brings together educators, counselors, and professionals to share resources, collaborate, and strengthen support services for students with disabilities. Eubank and Hudgins shared best practices from CareerTech programs, emphasizing strategies that help students develop skills, explore career pathways, and achieve greater independence in their futures. Their presentation reinforced Mid-America’s commitment to inclusive education and preparing all students for success.
