The November report from the Oklahoma Tax Commission was recently sent out and reflects returns of tax dollars sent to area municipalities for business done in September.
Taxes returned to the City of Newcastle indicate sales were slightly down for the month of September, when compared to the same month in the previous year.
McClain County and Purcell were also down for the month, but Blanchard, Goldsby and Norman all showed an increase of Sales and Use Taxes for the reporting period by the Tax Commission.
