Woodland Hills Baptist Church asks for the public to join them at 313 South Hwy. 76 in Newcastle from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday.
They are hosting “Surviving the Holidays” — a two-hour seminar in the Student Center to help those attending navigate a loss this Holiday Season. This is for those who are dreading the upcoming season. Some of the topics covered will be: Dealing with your Emotions. Handling Social Events. What to Do About Your Traditions.

They point out II Corinthians 1:3-4 (NIV) for a verse on Praise to the God of All Comfort.
They note: “Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.”
