The Newcastle Racers wrestling program had several placers at the 32nd Annual Mark Peck Westmoore Open during the weekend. Two wrestlers had first place wins. They are Jaxon Mitchell for the high school, and Myka Loman for the middle school.
Coaches said they were very proud of all of the young men and women for the way they competed and represented their community, school, and program.
“Congratulations to all of our place winners. Big thanks to all of our families, friends, and fans who came out to show their support,” Coaches said.
The following wrestlers placed: High School Girls — Tatum McDaniel - 3rd; and Addison Schuringa - 4th.
High School Boys — Jaxon Mitchell - 1st; Aidan Froysland 2nd; and Gage Stark - 3rd.
Middle School Boys — Michael Rodgers - 2nd; and Kaleb Roche - 3rd.
Junior High Girls — Raelyn Boffey - 1st; and Middle School Girls — Myka Loman - 1st; and Mckinsley Pick - 4th.
