McClain County Democrats will have a 7 p.m., Tuesday, November 18 meeting at Libby’s Cafe in Goldsby.
Their guest speaker is Tyler Minton.
The Democrat group asks attendees to come early and eat before visiting with the special guest.
McClain County Democrats secretary Aris Kihara said, “Minton is an Oklahoma native with a passion for debate and factual policy discourse aimed at social and economic discourse.”
She said Minton works as an electoral organizer with Oklahoma City Democratic Socialists of America (DSA), and the Oklahoma City No Kings coalition.
“He is currently co-chair for Wage Up OK, an Oklahoma City-based DSA-led campaign to support State Question 832 and bring livable wages to hundreds of thousands of lowincome Oklahomans,” she said.
Minton said the McClain County Democrats meet on the third Tuesday of every month, and all are welcome to attend these meetings.
