McClain County Medical Marijuana sales were led by Newcastle during the month of October, according to records from the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana Authority (OMMA).
The monthly sales tax report on Medical Marijuana sales indicates that Newcastle was returned $10,159.89 in sales taxes for its city coffers, while also returning $14,277.78 in sales taxes for OMMA, and another $10,159.90 in sales taxes for the State of Oklahoma.
Purcell was next in Mc-Clain County with $5,110.20 in taxes returned. They sent $8,262.66 to OMMA and $4,203.82 to the State of Oklhaoma.
Blanchard had $4,480.90 returned in local Medical Marijuana sales. Blanchard sent $5,427.38 to OMMA and another $4,155.98 to the State of Oklahoma.
In total, McClain County cities were sent back $19,750.99 in taxes on their sales.
