The Board of Education of Newcastle Public School District announces that individuals who are qualified and interested can file to run as a candidate for the school board.
Seat #1 is up for election and the filing period is from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, December 1 through Wednesday, December 3.
Filing must be done at the McClain County Election Board. Seat #1 is currently held by Ron Lock. He was appointed to serve an unexpired term last year.
