Following the guidelines posed by the Newcastle Chamber of Commerce By-Laws, several persons have been submitted by the Nominating Committee and approved by the Board of Directors to serve a two-year Board of Directors term beginning January 2026.
They are the following: Cody Barton, Mid-American Technology Center; Stephanie Branscum, The First National Bank & Trust; Linda Eyler, Community Bank of Oklahoma; Ashley Evans, OEC; Heather Justine, Mc-Clain County TSET; Chris Kidd, The Chickasaw Nation; and Brad Pierce, Pioneer Fiber Internet.
Additional names of candidates for directors can be nominated by letters of recommendation bearing the signatures of at least three qualified members of the Chamber. A petition must be filed with the Nominating Committee within 10 calendar days after notice has been given of the names of those nominated. The determination of the Nominating Committee as to the legality of the petitions shall be final.
The Board of Directors meets monthly at noon on the second Thursday. Officers are members of the Executive Committee and meet an additional day per month. Board members are expected to take an active leadership role in the Chamber.
This may include chairing a committee.
