Chamber hosts panel on infrastructure, energy issues

Pioneer Fiber Internet Chief Executive Officer Blake Callaham takes the microphone to discuss the role and future his company plays in not only Newcastle, but throughout southern Oklahoma. He was part of a infrastructure panel discussion October 21 at Newcastle Christian Church. Other panelists include: Daniel Lofland, energy efficiency and solutions specialist with Oklahoma Electric Cooperative (OEC), Jamie Wade, supervisor of Business Development with OEC Fiber, Jeremy Kirkland, manager of fiber optic technicians with OEC Fiber, Jason Dunnington, co-founder of the 1907 group, Roberto Fajardo, sales manager with Republic Services, and Sagar Kataria, general manager with Republic Services.

Assistant City Manager Jeannette McNally was the moderator for the first-of-its-kind infrastructure panel discussion. The event was Tuesday, October 21 at the Newcastle Christian Church, and was hosted by the Newcastle Chamber of Commerce. Newcastle’s and the area’s energy, fiber internet, and waste management were among discussion items.
