‘Evening with the Mayor’
Newcastle Fire Station #1 was the site for last Thursday night’s “Evening with the Mayor,” hosted by the City of Newcastle and the Newcastle Chamber of Commerce. Attendance was considered lighter than usual events with the Newcastle High School Racer football game being moved from Friday night to Thursday night due to incoming severe weather. Mayor Karl Nail was the guest speaker. Notable attendees were also city council members Gene Reid, Mike Fullerton, Marci White, and Todd D’Amico, as well as City Manager Kevin Self, and Assistant City Manager Jeannette McNally. •photos by Scott Hannan
