Homework help resources available at Pioneer Library System libraries

As the new school year is now well underway, Pioneer Library System is excited to offer a variety of online resources to help students of all ages succeed.

Homework Help, located on the PLS website, features tools designed to support learners of all ages. These resources include live online tutoring, research databases, practice tests, and teen mental health information. The following resources are just a few of the many offered by Pioneer Library System: Brainfuse provides live, one-on-one tutoring and homework assistance from certified tutors in a variety of subjects, ensuring students get the personalized support they need. EBSCO Host offers access to a vast collection of articles and publications for research and learning purposes. Literary Reference Center is a comprehensive full-text database covering information for literary research from all genres and time periods. Encyclopedia Britannica gives students access to a wealth of reliable information for research and learning.

LearningExpress Library offers test preparation, skillbuilding exercises, and career related resources designed to help students achieve their educational and career-related goals.

Mango Languages is an interactive language learning platform offering courses for over 70 languages for individuals of all ages and skills.

Teen Health & Wellness helps meet the needs of today’s teens through nonjudgmental, straightforward, curricular, and self-help support.

With content featured on diseases, drugs, alcohol, nutrition, mental health, suicide, bullying, LGBTQ+ issues, and more, teens can find an online safe space. To help manage stress, teens can join an online calm room with nature videos, sounds and music, animal cams, and more.

In addition to these digital resources, each Pioneer Library System location is equipped with public computers and tablets available for use in the library.
