The 2025 Newcastle High School Homecoming Parade is at 10 a.m. on Friday, October 17.
Parks & Recreation Director Kyle Marks said a staging map will be sent to participants on October 13.
The parade begins at Newcastle High School, proceeds north on State Highway 62/Main Street to 10th Street. Floats end at Veterans Park (big lot) and cars end at the Library lot.
From 9:45–11:15 a.m., all lanes of Main Street will be closed from NW 16th St. to State Highway 130.
Homecoming activities include the following: Monday, October 13 — High School Kickoff Assembly: High School students only Tuesday, October 14 — High School Blood Drive, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., open to the community Wednesday, October 15 — Fields of Faith, 6:30 p.m. Open to the Community, Gene Reid Stadium Thursday, October 16 — High School Homecoming Dance, high school students only, Racer Arena Friday, October 17 — 10 a.m. Parade, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Community Festival, 6 p.m. Homecoming Court, 7 p.m. Kickoff
