Newcastle 4-H Leader Tammy Elliott said 4-H is an amazing program and offers a multitude of activities for youth ages five to high school graduation.
She said Cloverbuds is a group for ages five to eightish. They are a non-competitive group and have several activities.
“Once a student is 8-years-old or older and entering third grade, they are regular 4-H members.
Newcastle meets the fourth Monday of each month during the school year. Meetings are at 4:30 p.m. at the Newcastle Public Library. The next meeting is Monday, October 27.
Families can sign up their child for 4-H by going online to https://4h.zsuite.org. There is a fee of $20 per child.
