The Newcastle Racers Cheer team qualified for the State Championship by finishing in seventh place at the Class 5A-ll Regionals at Chickasha. The Racers participated in the State Championship at Union High School in Tulsa, coming in 12th place with 226.2 points. The winner was Heritage Hall with 270.8 points.
