Oklahoma Tax Commission results for the September report indicate that McClain County raked in $726,740 in sales and use taxes for the September report. That is an increase over last year of $392,319.37. The numbers are based on July business.
The City of Newcastle also had a large increase of $82,726 over the previous year’s report.
Washington also had a large increase based on a rate increase from .04 to .05. They increased by $20,892.69 over the amount collected in 2024.
