Newcastle led Mc-Clain County communities in medical marijuana sales for the month of August 2025.
The City of Newcastle was returned $7,769.21 in sales taxes from purchases made. Purcell was returned $5,499.38 in sales taxes, while Blanchard was returned $4,733.78.
From the sales within McClain County communities, the State of Oklahoma was given $7,769.21, $4,499.48 and $4,394.93 respectively, and the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana Authority was given $13,142.36, $7,764.74 and $6,284.46.
