Officer files charges with D.A. on suspect
Charges of false declaration to a pawnbroker were submitted to the District Attorney’s office after an incident recently in Newcastle.
A report filed by the Newcastle Police Department indicates that on September 9, 2025, the department received information from the Oklahoma City Police Department about tools stolen in Oklahoma City that were pawned at a Newcastle pawn shop.
Newcastle Police Investigator David Bristol submitted charges on the suspect to the McClain County District Attorney.
