Newcastle Cross Country competes at Crossings Christian School Invitational

There were several top finishes by Newcastle at the Crossings Christian School Cross Country Invitational on Saturday.

The high School boys placed 2nd with Luke Perkins coming in 17th, Cross Owens coming in 21st, and Jackson Stevens coming in 24th.

The Racer girls team placed 4th with Hadlee Mann coming in 4th, Hayden Allen coming in 16th, and Taytum Burke coming in 20th.

The 8th grade boys placed 3rd with Seth Haskins coming in 10th, Sean Haggerty coming in 14th, and Luke Arrington coming in 28th.

The 8th grade girls placed 5th with Tanzy Doresey coming in 23rd, Elliott Smith coming in 31st, and Bella Hankins coming in 44th.

The 7th grade girls didn’t place but individually Tatum O’Daniel came in 15th, Carlee Bogle came in 127th, and Zoe Smyth came in 139th.

And, the 7th grade boys team came in 10th with Ethyn Burke coming in 20th, Christian Thompson coming in 30th and Colton Wade coming in 91st.

Placing for Newcastle at the Crossings Christian School Cross Country Invitational over the weekend were: Hayden Allen, 16th; Hadlee Mann, 4th; and Taytum Burke, 20th. The Newcastle girls finished in fourth place overall. • photo provided
