On September 16, Pioneer Library System (PLS) will join a nationwide coalition of thousands of partners to celebrate National Voter Registration Day with a coordinated effort aimed at helping every eligible Oklahoman get registered to vote ahead of Election 2025.
Every eligible citizen should have the opportunity to make their voice heard at the ballot box. Since its founding in 2012, National Voter Registration Day has helped more than 6 million Americans register to vote, and 2025 provides a key opportunity to ensure Oklahomans are #VoteReady for local and state elections that will shape the future of their communities.
As a proud partner in this national effort, Pioneer Library System will host voter registration resources across its 12 hometown libraries in Cleveland, McClain, and Pottawatomie counties, providing resources, information, and in-person support to community members. From Norman to Shawnee to Newcastle, PLS is committed to ensuring every eligible resident has access to trusted, nonpartisan resources about how to register, update their information, and prepare for Election Day.
On September 16, libraries, schools, nonprofits, and businesses nationwide will come together to mark this civic holiday with a wave of events designed to highlight the importance of voter registration. Pioneer Library System is honored to stand alongside these partners and continue its tradition of serving as a trusted community hub for civic engagement.
