McClain-Grady County EMS responds to 272 calls in July

McClain-Grady County Emergency Medical Services reports a total of 272 calls during the month of July 2025. Of those, 178 were billed and 94 were non-transport.

The ambulance service had an average response time of 8.90 minutes, and an average miles per patient transport of 13.08.

Sick calls was the leading reason for calls with 63, while falls were the second most made call with 38.

Types of calls were the following: Abdominal pain, 11; alcohol intoxication, 3; allergic reaction, 1; altered consciousness, 12; animal bite, 1; anxiety episode, 5; assault, 2; auto accident, 26; auto pedestrian, 2; burn, 2; cardiac arrest, 7; chest pain, 10; choking, 2; drowning, 1; electrocution, 1; event standby, 2; fall, 38; fire standby, 1; hemorrhage, 2; hyperglycemia, 2; hypertension, 2; hyperthermia, 5; hypoglycemia, 3; hypotension, 1; laceration, 5; lift assist, 3; overdose, 6; psychiatric emergency, 2; seizure, 10; shortness of breath, 14; sick call, 63; sports injury 1; stroke, 9; syncope, 10; and welfare check, 8.
