Woodland Hills Baptist Church at 313 South Hwy. 76 in Newcastle will again be hosting “GriefShare.”
The 13-week session will start from 10 a.m. to noon on Thursday, August 14 in the church Student Center. The program will finish on November 6.
A church spokesperson asks that readers feel free to share this information with anyone who is grieving the loss of a loved one.
At the weekly sessions, attendees will see a video featuring respected counselors, teachers, and health care professionals on grief-related issues and topics. After that there is a small-group discussion to allow people a time of sharing, support and personal application of what they learned from the video.
This is a video seminar, workbook and support group setting. Each session is selfcontained and some of the topics include: Is This Normal, Why, Guilt and Anger, Stuck and more.
