Q&A with OTA being rescheduled; ACCESS Oklahoma info. expected
A Q&A with the OTA luncheon was planned for August 13 in Blanchard, but has been rescheduled due to a scheduling conflict.
The Newcastle Chamber of Commerce will announce the rescheduled date when it is arranged, and the Newcastle Pacer will have an updated story.
Oklahoma Turnpike Authority Executive Director Joe Echelle E.D. was scheduled as the luncheon speaker. The event was scheduled at the Pioneer Telephone location on Main Street in Blanchard. The Newcastle Chamber will announce a new date.
The Blanchard Chamber of Commerce indicated that several communities who have access to Oklahoma’s turnpike have had questions about what to expect for the future of Oklahoma’s toll roads.
They state, especially when it comes to explaining reasons for conversions to all cashless tolls and Pike Passes, and the ACCESS Oklahoma long-range to connect current turnpikes and make it easier for drivers to get around the state.
When the new date is announced, attendees will need to RSVP to their local chambers of commerce. Pioneer had planned a free lunch for Chamber members. Nonmembers’ lunches were planned to be $10 each.
