NPS schedules events to prepare for new year
As Newcastle Public Schools prepares for a new year, they plan several activities including open houses at each of their locations.
NPS 2025-2026 open house dates and times are the following: • Early Childhood Center, August 4, 5-7 p.m.
• Newcastle Elementary School 2nd and 4th grades, August 1, 5-6 p.m.
• Newcastle Elementary School 3rd and 5th grades, August 1, 6:30-7:30 p.m.
The Elementary School is calling its Open House a Back To School Night. Students and parents will be able to meet the teachers and information tables will be available.
• Newcastle Middle School 6th grade, August 5, 5:30-6:30 p.m.
• Newcastle Middle School 7th and 8th grades, August 5, 6:30-7:30 p.m.
• Newcastle High School 9th grade, August 4, 5:30-7:30 p.m. This night is for freshman orientation and will begin at Newcastle High School’s Auditorium with a freshman meeting. They’ll have breakout sessions at 6 p.m, and a campus tour and club fair at 6:30 p.m. A freshman parent meeting is at 7 p.m. For more information, contact [email protected].
